Basketry Chocolatillo: The activity of basketry made with natural fibers of Paja tetera y chocolatillo is traditional for the Eperaara Siapidaara artisans of the municipality of Guapi, in the department of Cauca. The expert hands and the dexterity of the women transform these fibers, dyed with clay, achiote seeds and puchama, into pieces for domestic use such as the four teats basket whose symbols, designs and stitches refer to jungle figures and animals such as spiders, butterflies, feathers and snakes. These baskets are used to transport and store different objects.
