L'Atelier Bogotá is a company that designs, produces and solves projects and furniture elements, created on the basis of bringing together: the creative work of designers, the training in problem solving and process development of engineers, with the traditional knowledge and expertise of master craftsmen. Founded on the site of an old 19th century woodworking factory, L'Atelier is located at the oldest industrial area of Bogota, bidding on to revitalise and re-signify important areas of the city that have fallen into disuse, but which offer a strategic location. We have decided to call our organisation an 'Atelier', using the French word which designates the physical space in which artists create, but also draw inspiration from, and produce their work. This way, we bring together in one place our workshop, our showroom and our creative office, promoting permanent feedback among: the thinking process, the materialization, and the strengthening of relationships with our clients. Since 2011, our dedication, our commitment, our personalized attention to each client and each project, our unique way of designing and producing, and our guarantee of quality for all products, have led us to create a number of unique and significant design pieces for residential spaces, and to develop and execute a wide range of more robust and complex projects with: restaurants, hotels, universities, construction companies, and multinationals.

The inspiration process of L’Atelier Bogotá has to do with comes from a mixture of styles, professional knowledge and artisan craftsmanship, materials, finishes, trends, and eras, which converge altogether in experimental exercises giving rise to conversation.
