An engineer of product design from the Eafit of Medellín created Sativa in 2011 along with her mother and partner. This brand develops design pieces and interior decoration with plants. Their purpose is based on conscious gardening and, at the same time, a mixture of functional botanical interior decorating styles. Their source of inspiration is nature and use of rustic materials such as iron, glass, concrete, and dirt. They also focus on minimalist geometry, the shapes that resemble macrocosm, taking the daily and local Colombian landscapes into consideration to enrich the proposal of interior design and decoration, as well as exteriors.
Sativa is the result of a personal dream that I have been chasing since I was in college: contribute to the world of design and decoration of spaces, from my connection with nature. For this reason, the brand's character is represented by the reciprocal relationship that people establish with it through a piece of decoration. Plants are not a compliment, and they are our reason for being.
